Deer Valley (Ariz.) district breaks ground on Elementary School #32

The 72,742-square-foot elementary school will accommodate 965 students.

Ground has broken on a 72,742-square-foot elementary school in the Deer Valley (Ariz.) district. 

Temporarily named Elementary School #32, the school will initially serve kindergarten through sixth grade students, with the infrastructure in place for future expansion to a kindergarten through eighth grade campus, reports City Sun Times

The school will have capacity for 965 students. 

School features include a media center and maker space along with an administration building, multipurpose building, and three classroom buildings. 

SPS+ Architects is designing the building and McCarthy Building is the construction manager. 

The school is set to open in August 2022.
