A senior at a Belton, Texas, high school was fatally stabbed Tuesday morning during a fight with another student in a school bathroom.
Police say two 18-year-old students confronted each other in a bathroom at Belton High School, Fox 44 reports. One student allegedly stabbed the other.
The injured student, Jose Luis Ramirez, was taken to an area hospital but he later died from his injuries.
After the stabbing, the suspect fled from the school, but police took him into custody shortly thereafter.
Police identified the suspect as Caysen Tyler Allison, 18. He was being held Tuesday in the Bell County Jail pending charges.
