A 15-year-old boy was fatally stabbed Friday at a St. Paul, Minn., high school.
CBS News reports that police have arrested a 16-year-old boy suspected of carrying out the killing.
Both teens were students at Harding High School, St. Paul Police Sgt. Mike Ernster said. The identities of the two students have not been disclosed.
Officers arrived at the school Friday morning and found school staff members providing first aid to the 15-year-old, Ernster said. The teen was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect was taken into custody at the school, Ernster said. Investigators are still trying to determine what led up to the stabbing.
The school went into lockdown, and after officers cleared the building, the school started dismissing students Friday afternoon.
