Colorado charter school is expanding

The Villa Bella Expeditionary School in Pueblo will build space to add grades six through eight.

The Villa Bella Expeditionary School, a charter school in Pueblo, Colo., is constructing an addition to house middle school grades.

The school, which opened in 2019, serves grades K to 5; the expansion will enable the school to add grades six through eight, reports The Pueblo Chieftain

The middle school addition will increase the school's capacity from 300 students to 450 students.

The expansion is set to be complete in 2022.
