April 30, 2025

Crown Pointe Academy, a charter school in  Westminster, Colorado, is scheduled to break ground next week on a new pre-K through second grade facility

A news release on Business Wire says the 26,000-square-foot building will be constructed across the street from the existing campus. The facility will accommodate an additional 275 students and provide 14 new classrooms.

The $17 million project will be built alongside the Uplands Colorado housing development, which is projected to add 2,200 new homes to the community in the coming years.

Crown Pointe Academy says its status as a charter school enables it to offer flexibility, innovation, and personalized learning environments.

“This expansion allows us to reach more young learners, strengthen school choice in our area, and continue our mission of preparing students to be confident, capable citizens.” said Crown Pointe Executive Director Keith Ouweneel.

The architect is EVstudio, and the builder is Roche Constructors.
