Bergen CTE School in Paramus, New Jersey, seeks to provide a versatile curriculum that focuses on employability and technical skills used in occupations. An addition to the existing Bergen County Technical High School, it accommodates about 260 students across three new CTE programs: Welding and Fabrication; Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management; and Dental Assisting/Assistant. The new campus is envisioned as a place that supports all modes of learning inside and outside the building. As such, outdoor learning areas were designed to support a variety of instructional and learning activities for small and large groups.
