The Culpeper County (Virginia) school district has broken ground on its seventh elementary school.

The Culpeper Star-Exponent reports that Mountain Run Elementary will be an 86,000-square-foot, $39 million facility situated across the road from Eastern View High School.

When it opens in 2027, Mountain Run Elementary will have a capacity of 650 students and will help relieve crowding across the district's existing elementary schools.

The architect is RRMM Architects, and the general contractor is Taft Construction.
