Virginia district begins $70 million renovation of middle school

The Culpeper County district's overhaul of Culpeper Middle School will be completed in 2027.

The Culpeper County (Virginia) district has broken ground on a $70 million renovation of Culpeper Middle School.

The Culpeper Star-Exponent reports that the project will add 40,000 square feet of new construction as well as 180,000 square feet of renovations.

The project will be an occupied renovation carried out in three phases. The final phase will be completed prior to the start of the 2027–28 school year.

The architect is Spectrum Design, and the builder is Taft Construction.
