An 11-year-old girl was killed Thursday morning in Parachute, Colo., after she fell under the wheels of a school bus.
The accident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. as the girl was running to catch the bus, reports The Post Independent.
She fell under the wheels of the moving school bus.
The girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
Parachute is about 40 miles east of Grand Junction.
