Student housing project okayed at University of Wyoming

Development will consist of 15 townhouse buildings

News release: The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees has approved plans for an $18.6 million student housing project. The facility would be built on on 8.5 acres of land that is vacant after the demolition last fall of the Summit View Apartments. It will consist of 15 two- and three-story residential buildings with 332 beds and 344 parking spaces. The design will be suite-style floor plans with townhouse structures. Occupancy is scheduled for August 2012.
