Space will enable university to provide permanent home for Holocaust exhibit
From The Boston Globe: The University of Massachusetts in Amherst has opened an institute for Holocaust, Genocide and Memory Studies, in the process finding a permanent home for a regional Holocaust exhibit that might otherwise have been packed away in storage. The new center features an exhibition hall with video and audio capability and numerous other rooms that organizers plan to use for additional exhibits, research libraries, archival storage and other functions such as a residence for visiting scholars.
