Louisiana district sues architect over moisture problems at elementary school

Lafayette Parish district says Charles Burke school has been plagued with water intrusion problems

From The Baton Rouge Advocate: The Lafayette Parish (La.) School Board has sued the architectural firm of Poché Prouet Associates over moisture and water intrusion problems at Charles M. Burke Elementary. The school was completed on Aug. 5, 1999, according to the lawsuit. Water leaks from the school’s aluminum storefront courtyard doors were first reported to Poché Prouet on Oct. 9
