New elementary school for York, Pa., district

$20 million building would hold 750 students.

The York (Pa.) city school district is planning to build a new Ferguson Elementary School for 750 students. Two three-story buildings with 12 to 18 classrooms each will be constructed; when those are finished, another building will be constructed, and then the old elementary school will be removed, creating more land for athletic fields and parking. The architect is EI Associates.
