Education cuts on the horizon in California

Governor says cuts are needed to close budget deficit

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger says he will push for a tax hike and deep cuts to schools to help close the state's yawning budget gap. Educators have been told to prepare for immediate cuts in the range of $2 billion to $4 billion. To read The Los Angeles Times article, click here.
