As part of Hudsonville Public Schools’ long-term master plan, voters approved a bond to address enrollment growth through new facilities. The project provides a new grade 5/6 intermediate and upper elementary school adjacent to the existing middle school, relieving crowding at both the middle school and nearby K–5 building while supporting a revised educational model for transitional learners. Educational program requirements included age-appropriate classrooms, integrated technology, flexible furniture, specialized instructional spaces, and extended learning areas that support collaboration and smallgroup instruction.
