- The redesign fosters a modern, engaging environment that encourages student creativity and teamwork.
Eastport Elementary School and Dayton Avenue School—each serving grades three through six in the Eastport-South Manor Central (New York) District—have transformed their libraries into innovative learning hubs. The raised floor and ceiling-suspended cord reels provide flexible power access, enabling students to reconfigure their learning environment as needed. Interactive displays and movable furniture empower students to share and present their ideas in real time. Resilient flooring and a plastic laminate veneer over the technology accent wall display are designed to withstand long-term use. The design also modernized the mechanical systems to accommodate the new layout.
