The project was recognized in the common areas category in American School & University's Educational Interiors Showcase.

The John C. Blazier Intermediate School campus in Austin, Texas, was planned as an unprecedented grade 3-8 facility for the Austin school district. The new campus fulfills the vision for the Blazier Educational Village, which serves grades PK-8 on the existing and new Blazier campuses. Programming goals from campus stakeholders emphasized opportunities for students to connect with their peers and teachers.
