Facing resistance from neighbors, St. John's Episcopal Parish Day School in Tampa, Fla., has halted plans to expand its lower division campus. The Tampa Bay Times says the school's original plans called for enlarging the parish hall and adding gym and classroom space. The expansion would have meant relocating an historic home and demolishing another home. After neighbors objected, the school withdrew its application regarding the historic homes from the city's architectural review board and requested a continuance on the expansion plans.
