Performing arts charter leases space in downtown St. Paul, Minn.

St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists plans to move its 550 students to the new location.

From The St. Paul Pioneer Press: A charter high school dedicated to the performing arts plans to buy a large portion of the building in downtown St. Paul, Minn., and consolidate its downtown classroom space. The St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists has an agreement with to buy 57,000 square feet in the Lowry Building—about 60 percent of the commercial space on the building's first three floors. The goal is to move 550 high school students into the building by this fall. The St. Paul Conservatory's lease on space in another downtown building is up in June.
