Stabbing at Hartford, Conn., high school sends one student to hospital

A 17-year-old student at Hartford Public High School allegedly stabbed an 18-year-old student, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

A student has been stabbed in an altercation with another student at Hartford Public High School in Hartford, Conn.

The incident occurred at about 11 a.m. Tuesday when a 17-year-old student allegedly stabbed an 18-year-old student, reports WTIC-TV

The 18-year-old sustained at least two puncture wounds, according to police. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  

A 17-year-old suspect was charged with assault in the first degree and carrying a dangerous weapon at school.
