Two students shot and wounded at Richmond, Va., high school
Two teenaged students were shot and wounded Thursday outside a high school in Richmond, Va.
WTVR-TV reports that two male students, both juveniles, were wounded near a parking lot outside George Wythe High School.
One victim, 16, sustained life-threatening injuries and was reported in critical condition at an area hospital; the second victim's wounds were not life-threatening and also was being treated at an area hospital.
Police said the shooting occurred around noon; responding officers found one victim outside the school; the other student took himself to a hospital.
No suspects were in custody as of Thursday afternoon.
