The Baltimore County (Md.) district has broken ground on a $43.2 million addition and renovation at Pine Grove Middle School in the Carney community.
The project will add 20,000 square feet of learning space and will increase the school's capacity by 222 seats, the district says in a news release.
Construction is expected to be completed by 2025.
