Hillsdale Christian School in Hillsdale, Okla., is adding high school grades as it formulates plans to build a separate high school facility.
With the expansion, the school would become the only private school in Northwest Oklahoma to offer pre-K through 12th grades, reports The Enid News & Eagle.
High school classes are set to begin later this year in the school’s existing facilities while plans come together for the high school building.
The school is looking at building the high school space in an empty lot it owns across the street from its elementary gym.
Talks of a high school have been ongoing for years but were derailed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
School officials estimate the school would cost about $1.5 million to construct.
