Lolo (Mont.) district breaks ground on K-8 school
The Lolo (Mont.) district has broken ground on a K-8 school.
The $26 million facility will accommodate about 700 students and will place all elementary and secondary students under one roof, reports KPAX-TV.
The district's existing classrooms are spread throughout six buildings.
Voters rejected two ballot proposals seeking construction funding, but on the third try, the district won approval for its bond request in 2020.
The school will feature separate wings for elementary and middle school students. It also will provide access for community groups and youth sports.
It is slated to open in fall 2024.
