Early childhood school breaks ground on new facility in Hampden Township, Pa.

The new campus of the Goddard School of Enola will be triple the size of its existing facility.

The Goddard School of Enola, a private early childhood and development school in Enola, Pa., is constructing an 18,000-square-foot facility.

The school says the new facility will be triple the size of its existing 6,000-square-foot facility,

The building will have 13 classrooms and a gym equipped with a stage, an interactive floor projection system and a basketball court, reportsPenn Live Patriot-News.

It also will have space for a student-maintained fruit and vegetable gardens and a student-led farmer’s market. 

The facility will have a 24-hour fitness center for employees with cardio equipment, free weights and yoga/Pilates mats; and two outdoor playgrounds, which will include a sport court and open grassy areas for Soccer Shots and other programs.

The school is part of a nationwide chain of more than 560 early childhood centers.
