Early childhood school breaks ground on new facility in Hampden Township, Pa.
The Goddard School of Enola, a private early childhood and development school in Enola, Pa., is constructing an 18,000-square-foot facility.
The school says the new facility will be triple the size of its existing 6,000-square-foot facility,
The building will have 13 classrooms and a gym equipped with a stage, an interactive floor projection system and a basketball court, reportsPenn Live Patriot-News.It also will have space for a student-maintained fruit and vegetable gardens and a student-led farmer’s market.
The facility will have a 24-hour fitness center for employees with cardio equipment, free weights and yoga/Pilates mats; and two outdoor playgrounds, which will include a sport court and open grassy areas for Soccer Shots and other programs.
The school is part of a nationwide chain of more than 560 early childhood centers.
