Meet the jury from this year's Educational Interiors Showcase competition.

Martin Montaño
Capital Projects Administrator
Rio Rancho Public Schools, Rio Rancho, N.M.

Martin has more than 22 years experience in facility management, lease management, planning, safety and capital-project administration. He has worked with various state government agencies and school districts within the state of New Mexico to develop capital outlay programs, and has administered multiple construction and building improvement projects throughout the state. As a member of the Rio Rancho Public School District's planning and design team, he has administered more than $120 million in school construction and building improvement projects, with the potential for an additional $26 million in 2007-08.

Greg Spitzer, AAIA, LEED AP
Senior Design Director
Legat Architects, Inc., Chicago

Greg joined Legat Architects in 1995. He has served as lead designer for more than 20 large-scale education projects including new schools, performing-arts centers, library renovations, master plans and technology centers. Greg was design director for the Morton College Library, Cicero, Ill., which has received several design awards. He also was senior designer for the $20 million Colin Powell Middle School, which has 90 percent daylighting and features one of the largest underwater geothermal systems in Illinois. He currently is designing a $13 million performing-arts center for Kent State University, Kent, Ohio.

Ted has managed large public school and private college facility operations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey for 30 years. During this time, he has served both as an owners' representative and project manager for 15 new facilities and 500 capital projects.
