Developer plans to bring more student housing to Chicago's Loop

A developer of student housing has plans to bring more living space for students to downtown Chicago. Campus Acquisitions LLC says it will convert two adjacent office buildings in the Loop into 160 units with 341 beds, according to ChicagoRealEstateDaily.com. The development will be one of several downtown facilities offering housing to college students, including a 32-story  building at Roosevelt University that can accommodate more than 600 student residents, and some observers believe the market already may be saturated.
