Worst decline since Great Depression, survey says

News release from the National Association of College and University Business Officers: College endowments in the past fiscal year suffered their worst losses since the Great Depression, dropping 18.7 percent in value, according to the 2009 NACUBO-Commonfund Study of Endowments. The data come from in-depth surveys of 842 U.S. institutions of higher learning
