From The Seattle Times: The Seattle school district will pay $750,000 to a former teacher who was fired after refusing to work in a school building that she said was causing her health problems. The payment will settle a lawsuit brought by 14-year drama and language instructor Denise Frisino after the district fired her from Nathan Hale High School in 2005. Frisino had headaches and asthma-like symptoms and blamed mold in her classroom. The district made cleanup attempts, but Frisino stopped coming to work and was ultimately fired. The district maintains that it did everything it could to accommodate her.
