Ohio district tries again on bond

Beavercreek brings back proposal that was narrowly defeated in November

The Beavercreek (Ohio) City School District will ask voters in March to approve a $90.3 million bond proposal for new facilities. The money will be used to build early childhood, elementary and middle schools and renovate eight buildings. Voters narrowly rejected a $89.3 million request in November; the new request is larger because cost estimates have increased. The district is more than 900 students over capacity and expects to add 800 to 2,500 students during the next decade.
