Report says class-size reduction is not cost-effective

Center for American Progress says schools should focus on improving teacher quality

From the Center for American Progress: Large-scale class-size reduction policies are not cost-effective because they entail steep costs and produce benefits that are modest at best. Many policies may be cost-effective alternatives to class-size reduction, but one set of policies that stands out are those aimed at improving teacher quality.
