New high school in Columbus, Ohio, will have foreign language focus
From The Columbus Dispatch: The Columbus (Ohio) district will open a new foreign-language high school next school year that eventually will enroll 800 or more students, with an emphasis on teaching Spanish, French and potentially Chinese. The new high school, whose location is yet to be determined, would grow in phases. It would begin with 200 ninth-graders in the 2010-11 school year, then add the 10th, 11th and 12th grades over the next three school years.
