From The Columbia Flier: A former Howard County (Md.) school district employee has pleaded guilty to stealing at least $210,000 worth of computers and other supplies and selling them on the Internet. Tina Marie Eiser, 49, secretly embezzled computers, parts and software while she worked as an information technology specialist for the county’s public schools and sold them on an eBay account under her daughter’s name. Eiser, who had been working at the school system since 1991, was put on administrative leave with pay in December 2009 and was fired from the school system in October 2010.
