Plymouth Canton (Mich.) district eyes green projects

District officials will seek stimulus funds to build walkway covered with solar panels, other projects

From The Detroit News: Officials with the Plymouth-Canton (Mich.) school district have unveiled a plan to apply for $130 million in grants for a plethora of green projects, including a new building to replace Central Middle School, built in 1917. Solar panels and energy efficient lighting would be installed at schools across the 19,000-student district.
