The Franklin Pierce (Wash.) district is asking voters on March 11 to approve a $78.5 million bond request. The projects covered in the proposal include constructing a $13.2 million 30,000-square-foot community center that would be used as a preschool during school hours; adding auxiliary gyms at two middle schools; and replacing at least one of the 1960s-era modular buildings that house the district’s administrative staff.
