From the 2025 Educational Interiors Showcase: Randolph-Macon College, Crenshaw Gym Renovation

Crenshaw Gym at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, has been the heart of the school’s athletic programs. But outdated locker rooms, dim lighting, and limited team spaces were hindering performance and team morale. The college has now transformed the facility into a vibrant and modern hub. The renovation has modernized the locker rooms for men’s and women’s basketball, men’s lacrosse, women’s volleyball and men’s soccer.  The main lobby was reimagined as a bold, brand-forward entry point. New flooring, paint and dynamic graphics ensure that the Randolph-Macon identity is instantly recognizable. The interior design focused on efficiency and sustainability.
