From the 2023 Architectural Portfolio: CORE at PIE Innovation Center

The project was recognized as an outstanding design in the Adaptive Reuse category.

As the focus of the overall PIE Innovation Center in Bradley County, Tennessee, CORE provides a variety of workforce development opportunities for students. The STEM school building consists of a recording studio, chemistry lab, nursing lab, welding lab, machining lab, mechatronics lab, classrooms, meeting space, administrative space, and a coffee shop. All instruction and labs are designed to simulate real world work environments to provide competency training. The project is an adaptive reuse of a manufacturing facility.
