“The Forge” is a cohesive center for the maker movement and robotics studies at Ridgedale Middle School in Florham Park, New Jersey. Entry to The Forge welcomes students with a colorful graphic-infused corridor lined by glass walls that provide a peek into the learning zones. Occupants are drawn to teaching walls and other learning areas highlighted by circuit board lighting. The design suite is equipped with personal whiteboards, green screens, camera equipment, and advanced prototyping machinery to provide opportunities for envisioning, producing, and marketing ideas.
