The athletics lobby at Hillcrest High School in Midvale, Utah, is a voluminous gathering space for students, visiting teams, and spectators with a view of the Wasatch Mountains. The lobby functions as a hub that connects athletic areas and leads to the upper concourse of the stadium. A dynamic balcony corridor suspended within the two-story volume connects two of the three athletic levels. The gymnasiums are amply illuminated with daylight. The field house features a second-level gallery that overlooks the stadium, and an expansive curtain wall showcases an elevated view of the field.
