From the 2021 Educational Interiors Showcase: Florida State University, Bio Unit One, Third Floor Renovations

Oct. 28, 2021
The project was recognized in American School & University's Educational Interiors Showcase for its innovative laboratory space.

Bio Unit One, Third Floor Renovations at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla., is a more-than-50-year-old laboratory building that had never been substantially renovated. Because of the condition of the facility, the entire third floor was demolished, and 10 new 660-square-foot, state-of-the-art biomedical labs were constructed. Supporting these labs are shared core labs, support labs, offices, collaboration areas, and conference rooms.
