Renovation receives LEED gold at Bradley University

Project expands Westlake Hall to six times its previous size

Westlake Hall at Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., has received a gold LEED rating from the U.S. Green Building Council for its environmentally friendly design. The university says the facility, one of the two original buildings on campus, underwent a $24 million renovation and expansion that increased its size from 13,500 to 84,600 square feet. Sustainable elements such as chilled beams, reheat coils and maximized daylighting. throughout the building have enhanced energy savings.
