Largest school bond issues in Texas, May 2019

Voters approved more than $7 billion in bonds for school and college districts.

Saturday was election day in Texas, and dozens of school districts asked voters to approve school construction proposals.

Most of the bond issue requests on the ballot were approved—more than $7 billion in funding for capital improvements.

Three districts—Cypress-Fairbanks, Prosper, and Dallas County Community College—won approval for packages greater than $1 billion.

Here are the 10 largest Texas school bond proposals approved May 4.
