17 schools to get upgrades in Sioux Falls (S.D.) district

The Sioux Falls (S.D.) School Board has given the green light to construction projects totaling more than $45 million at 17 different schools. The Sioux Falls Argus-Leader says 11 of the 17 schools will receive security upgrades this year so that any visitors to the schools will have to be let inside by a staff member and pass through the administrative offices before they can get access to students.
