Washington D.C. school chancellor says she won't take New York City job

Kaya Henderson had been considered one of the candidates to lead the New York City school system.

Washington D.C. Schools Chancellor Kaya Henderson, whose has been identified as a candidate for New York City’s top schools job, is telling employees that she has no intention of leaving Washington. The Washington Post says that Henderson admits in a letter to staff that she has spoken with New York City Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio, but "I will not take the job."
