Durham (N.C.) school board decides to cancel district credit cards

Board had already cancelled superintendent's card after questions were raised about its use

The Durham (N.C.) school board has decided to cancel all the district’s credit cards, including its own. The Durham Herald-Sun reports that the action comes after questions were raised about Superintendent Eric Becoats’ credit card spending. The board cancelled his card last month. In addition to the board’s credit card, those maintained by the Finance and Facility Support Services departments also will be terminated.
