Long Island University wants to expand a soccer field on its campus in the Brooklyn borough of New York City, but neighbors worry that the expansion will bring more noise and lights to the area and create a parking shortage. The New York Times reports that the university is pursuing the $7.5 million project to bring the field up to NCAA standards.
