Charter school opens inside San Diego's central library

E3 Civic High School occupies two floors of the city's downtown library building.

The San Diego Unified District has opened E3 Civic High School in an unlikely location--inside the city of San Diego's central library. The San Diego Union-Tribune says about 260 ninth- and 10th-graders are enrolled at e3 Civic High, a charter school that occupies the sixth and seventh floors of the downtown library building.
