New school year, new districts for former Inkster (Mich.) students

Students dispersed to four districts after the state of Michigan dissolved the failing Inkster system over the summer.

Students who had been enrolled in the Inkster (Mich.) district have begun the new school year attending classes in the Romulus, Taylor, Wayne-Westland and Westwood school districts. The Detroit News reports that the students had to transfer to other school systems after the state dissolved the financially failing Inkster district
