Hillsborough County (Fla.) district to hire a charter school director

The Hillsborough County (Fla.) School District has created a new position to oversee charter schools in the county. The Tampa Bay Times says that the charter schools director will oversee the 42 charter schools now operating in the district. Officials expect the number of charters will continue to grow.
