Lee County (Miss.) district seeks bond approval

The Lee County (Miss.) School District has plans to upgrade nine of its 11 campuses. But first, The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports, the district must get the approval of its voters. On the July 30 ballot is a $13.5 million bond proposal. If 60 percent of voters say yes, the money would be used for new buildings or wings at Saltillo Primary, Saltillo High School, Guntown Middle, Shannon High and Plantersville Middle.
